GOLD MEDAL - Vínne Trhy Pezinok 2025, Slovakia
Grüner Veltliner is an old variety that has been cultivated in the Small Carpathians for more than 1000 years. Our terroir, i.e. stony soil, southeastern warm slopes and climate, suits it very well. We produce Veltliners in top quality every year. They are mineral, almond-like, spicy with fresh acidity.
We ferment part of the Veltliners and then leave them to mature for a long time in oak barrels, and since 2019 also in French barrique barrels. These wines are rated in France with the Great Gold Medals, i.e. they compete with the best wines in the world in fierce competition with the best wines. Wines that have matured in oak barrels are suitable for archiving. If you had to choose only one wine most typical of our Small Carpathian wine region, be sure to choose Grüner Veltliner.
From Grüner Veltliner, we also offer Ice wine and dry Frizzante, even a Sekt a great sparkling wine, made by the traditional method of secondary fermentation of wine in bottles, the manual production of which takes about 1.5 years.
